Creating New URL Access Manager Properties

In addition to the default properties described in Property Name Constants , extensions can create additional properties by calling URLSetProperty and specifying the name of a new property in the propertyBuffer parameter.

To prevent name collisions with properties created by other applications, the name of any property that you create should begin with a sequence of characters that reflect the name of your company, such as "MyCompany: Version 1."
